chillin with the fam in SD has never been more relaxed!



Ever seen Lion King? Well, we're offering up little Nathan like Simba the Lion King. I have some serious family pictures, but I thought this one would be the best. Christmas was great this year, as it is every year, but a little more special as Nathan's first Christmas!


We had our annual pinto bean poker tournament. By annual, I mean the first one ever. It was nice though, because we're all very competitive and there were no arguments. We had such a great time, and it was the perfect way to end 2008 with a bang.

Nathan is now about 4 weeks old, and has been such a blessing to us. He's just getting a little fussy lately, so it's finally harder for us to get any sleep. The quiet was nice while it lasted, but at least we can be thankful that he is constantly letting us know that he's breathing and alive during the night :)

So, as 2008 closes out, do your best to remember the times and people that brought you the most joy, and hopefully you have as many digital reminders as I do that life is short, and to really enjoy it you have to spend it with the one's you love. I'm doing it now, and I love it!
